New bikes to launch at Sportline Show 2017Posted On: February 2nd, 2017
With a matter of weeks until the Sportline Show, bike brands are revealing what visitors can expect to see, including brand new launches from Saracen and Adventure.
Taking place at Arena:MK on Tuesday 21 February and Wednesday 22 February, 2017 sees a wide range of new bikes make their UK debuts including two 29ers, Pro-level road bikes, E-Bikes, commute kings and many more.
Adventure is bringing a completely new range of models to the show, which includes three children’s bikes and a new E-Bike. The Roadsport Men’s E-Bike is designed for urban use and leisurely Sunday rides with the family. With a 700c Alloy Frame with clearance for tyres and mudguards, the Roadsport comes equipped with proven Shimano STEPS technology and reliable Shimano M355 hydraulic brakes. At RRP £2,249.99, the Roadsport represents excellent value for the category.
The Lola, Bluebell and Babyccino make up the three new children’s bikes and each has a lightweight alloy frame, a traditional look with an easy-to-master ride position, woven baskets for toys or valuables and full-length mudguards. Priced from £209.99 for the Babyccino, these new bikes are a great option for getting young ones rolling.
On the mountain bike front, Saracen is launching two brand new 29ers for visitors to see for the very first time. With more details to be released in the coming weeks, the Zenith and Zenith Trail blur the lines between XC race and trail riding and will be sure to take a lot of interest at the end of February in Arena:MK. The two models sit either side of the £1,000 price-point.
Moving onto the road, one of the biggest bike brands in the world, Ridley, is back at the Sportline Show exhibiting its stunning new range of machines. The Helium SLX is the high-end race bike that was being ridden by the Lotto Soudal team at the Tour Down Under, first shown at Eurobike last year. As well as the new Helium X, the usual popular models will be on display such as the Noah SL, Fenix SL and new range of women’s specific bikes.
Both Genesis and Ridgeback will be putting in a show of force. Genesis will be exhibiting its range of favourites such as the Croix de Fer, Tarn and Zero, so visitors can visit the booth and speak to the designers about the brand. The ever-popular and reliable Ridgeback will have its range of Shimano STEPS E-Bikes, Metro bikes and the brilliant range of Dimension children’s bikes.
