Vittoria proudly announces the opening of VittoriaLabs, a state-of-the-art research and development centre designed to redefine the future of cycling performance.

With "Labs" in the plural
The opening today at the headquarters of this global company follows the launch of the already operational centre in Thailand, as well as the VittoriaPark, which, as everyone knows, is both a place of fun and a cutting-edge testing facility.
These labs are designed to generate technological innovations in cycling and ensure that Vittoria maintains a leadership position in performance, safety, and sustainability.

VittoriaLabs (Thailand): A 330 m² facility equipped with 15 state-of-the-art machines for research and development on tire systems and accessories.
VittoriaLabs (Italy): Spanning 430 m² and housing 8 high-performance machines, this center represents the core of Vittoria's innovative efforts.
VittoriaPark (Italy): a 5-hectare outdoor testing facility with over 5 kilometers of tracks, complements the indoor labs by allowing for comprehensive field tests under various conditions. This combination of indoor precision and real-world outdoor trials ensures Vittoria's primacy and unique position in the global tire and accessory industry.

The VittoriaLabs are located in two regions known for their academic excellence and industrial expertise, enabling the company to collaborate with top-tier universities and local industries for continuous innovation. Proximity to these institutions facilitates collaboration and access to leading research, ensuring Vittoria maintains an edge in its cutting-edge endeavors. Additionally, the location allows for a direct connection between Vittoria's headquarters and factories, ensuring smooth and rapid communication and production.

Quantifying tire system benefits on an engineering basis
Thanks to the new global structure of VittoriaLabs and VittoriaPark, Vittoria now has the unique capability to quantify the benefits of tire systems on an engineering basis. Through rigorous testing, both indoors and outdoors, the labs can accurately measure and analyse performance improvements across a range of metrics - enabling the company to develop products optimized for real-world conditions. This data-driven approach ensures that every tire system is designed to provide maximum safety, efficiency, and sustainability for cyclists of all levels.
“Vittoria Labs will be the engine driving our ambitions for market leadership in innovation in a future we are already shaping,” says Stijn Vriends, Chairman and CEO of Vittoria. “By combining state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor testing facilities, we can push the limits of what’s possible in cycling tires and accessories, while keeping sustainability at the core of our innovations,” adds Vanessa ten Hoff, Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer of Vittoria.

Innovative, Sustainable, Passionate
This latest significant investment by Vittoria in research and development is just the latest in a series of both financial and emotional investments the company is making to solidify its brand positioning as one made by cyclists, for cyclists. It does not produce tires or accessories for cars, trucks, or airplanes. All of its innovation, all of its efforts in terms of sustainability, and all of its passion go into cycling - and only cycling. And into every cycling discipline: from track to gravity, from niche disciplines to those enjoyed by the masses; from clean, polished, rarefied ones to those full of mud and dust. Vittoria knows how to win in every one of these disciplines. In 2024, it further extended its list of victories in road cycling, literally dominating Cyclocross and the latest Gravel World Championships. It also won dozens of medals in Paris and even claimed the MTB World Cup in the toughest discipline of all for a tire: the Marathon.
Vittoria counts the victories of the pros in races because they’re easy to measure, but for the company, these are just as important as the daily personal victories of the amateurs who follow it and show it so much love on social media, at events, and everywhere. These are communities passionate about cycling, just like Vittoria is.
